Nice video. But I was distracted by the fact that in this example rain garden it really doesn't look like the deepest part is 10' or more from the house.

Those got to be those ass wipes that don't break down you're not supposed to flush them although they say flushable.

My first construction job was at Swan Island Pump Station in 2005 with Impregilo-Healy, JV. I was only there for the last one and a half years but it has left a large and longterm impression on me. Later I joined in 2007 with Keiwitt to do the eastside of the project. I was there until Jan. 2010 and was able to be in almost from the start at the Opera shaft. I had great people not just on my crew but in all the areas and crafts, that i worked with. Some very intelligent and skilled people shared with me their knowledge and for that I am grateful. What a lucky girl I was to have The Big Pipe as the steppingstones to my career in construction. Listening to the video they make it sound like a big deal but you'll never be able to understand how huge and complex the whole operation wa or How many different people with various different roles and jobs it took to bring everything together. I am proud and thankful that I was able to be a part of an awesome and positive inpacting soulution to what was an increasing demise for our city. Thank you to everyone who was there working with me and teaching me their tricks of the trade.

I was privileged and blessed to be a small part of the team that worked on this project from 2002-2012. I first started working on this project as part of the design team with Parsons Brinckerhoff. I later was hired by Impregilo-Healy, JV as one of the CAD Operators on the West Side CSO Tunnel Project and, finally, as the CAD Manager with Kiewit-Bilfinger Berger, AJV on the East Side CSO Tunnel Project. This project was one of the most rewarding and fulfilling accomplishments of my life. I will be forever grateful to the many hundreds of people I worked alongside during those years. Today, we can all look back at this project with great pride and know that we made history for many generations to come. Good job Portland and good job Team!
